Fox News has carried developments on this story for quite some time. It appears that the U.S. State Department is not putting forth much effort to encourage the release Pastor Abedini. We as Christians - Pastor Abedini's brothers and sisters in Christ - need to pray for him and his family. Pray for his release, his health and his spirit. Pray that God will strengthen him, protect him and cause the Iranians to get him the necessary health care.
